Technology Makes a Difference
In our everyday lives, we’re aided by technology that makes tasks quicker and easier. The same is true for dentistry — the more advanced technology we have, the better our procedures. That’s why Dr. Albert Internoscia keeps his office equipped with the best.
Learn about how each piece of our technology makes your visit easier.
Digital & Panoramic X-Rays
Digital X-rays are easier to take than traditional ones and they don’t expose you to as much radiation. X-rays are an important tool for us to be able to see any cavities or other problems with your teeth.
Panoramic X-rays can capture your entire mouth in one picture to show any abnormalities in your jaw. They don’t provide enough detail to show cavities, but they’re helpful for other issues.
Cone Beam Computed Technology (CBCT)
3D technology is a massive boon to dental work — one CBCT scan can provide us with a full image of your teeth and mouth. The scan takes less than a minute to complete and we use it to develop your custom treatment plan.
Digital TRIOS® Intraoral Scanner
In the past, impressions were taken with putty — a messy and uncomfortable process. Our office uses a digital intraoral scanner to take impressions, consisting of waving a small wand around your teeth. No mess or discomfort required.
Computer-Guided Implant Surgery
It’s very important for your implant to be placed correctly. Dr. Internoscia is a highly skilled implant dentist, so he knows to place your safety and satisfaction first. He uses computer-guided implant surgery to ensure your implant will be in the correct position.
CAD/CAM Same-Day Crowns
3D printing technology has made the creation of dental crowns much faster. Using 3D digital impressions we take, we can print a perfectly crafted crown for you at our office in one day.
State-of-the-Art Advancements
Technology has elevated the level of treatment we can give you. We know that you’d rather be out living your life than spending time in the dental chair, and the advanced technology in our dental office allows you to do just that.
